Cramby River offers intensive, modular workshops that provide skills and knowledge immediately applicable in the workplace. Our workshops are intended for the adult learner. They focus on problem solving by using experiential exercises and case studies, complemented by relevant didactic materials. Active participation of participants is encouraged.

Each workshop is designed as a half-day module which can stand alone or become part of a strategic training program. We will customize modules to meet individual needs whenever possible.

Modular
Training workshops are modularized into intensive four-hour segments. This allows the flexibility of tailoring training programs to the specific needs of our clients. A single module can be selected which can be delivered in as little as a half day, or several modules can be combined to deliver a more comprehensive training program.

Skill Centered
We understand how busy today's employees are so we plan our workshops to impart as much applicable knowledge as possible in a very short time. Our three-pronged model includes focused didactic presentations, practical exercises and supporting material for later study.

Highly Work Relevant
All of our case studies are based on real workplace situations. We design our experiential exercises to assure a high degree of relevancy to the workshop subjects. We also appreciate the need to immediately apply the knowledge in the work place, and have designed exercises to provide hands-on experience.

Designed for the Adult Learner
Our workshops are designed for the adult learner. They are focused on problem solving and every effort is made to make them application intensive, highly experiential and participative. Appropriate didactic materials support experiential exercises and case studies. A resource notebook is supplied which serves as a course outline and can be used in the future as a reference and application guide. Additional subject matter in the form of white papers, reprints and/or books is available for follow-up review and study.

Adaptable
Workshop modules can be customized to client needs. For example, most four-hour modules can be expanded to longer modules if a more in depth or broader treatment of the subject is required. Also, portions of different modules can be mixed to form a workshop with a spectrum of related subjects.

Expandable
Cramby River Consultants is supported by a network of experienced, highly skilled professionals ready to deliver workshops in other specializations. Using these and our own internal resources, workshops can be designed and delivered upon request which include subjects related to leadership, management, business development, project and program management, visioning and goal setting. Training assessments are also available.
